Faster handling isn't necessarily better-we engineered the handling based on the specific use-case. In this case, it's Roubaix. Roubaix is harder on bikes than any other race on the calendar, and there's zero margin for error. We increased the rear center, lowered the BB, and increased the trail. FOR YOUR BIG, STUPID RIDES On the fringes of cycling and triathlon, already endurance-oriented sports, there are athletes pushing their bodies and equipment to the limit. Ultra-distance, but ultra-fast. We call these Big, Stupid Rides, and since the introduction of the Caledonia in 2020, athletes around the world have been exploring just how big and just how stupid those rides can be. These athletes reach for the Caledonia-5. It’s built to handle long-distance, high-speed racing—with fit and handling geared toward comfort, but without sacrificing the Cervelo race bike feeling. For the new Caledonia-5, we focused on improvements that would be meaningful for the people pushing it to its limits. The biggest thing you’ll notice is the addition of the in-frame storage first seen on P-Series. This isn’t designed to fit a burrito—there’s only room for a small multi-tool, tube, and a CO2 canister. Then we looked to comfort: The seat stays are dropped, similar to Aspero, which makes that rear triangle more acute, and more vertically flexible. At the same time, there’s a bit more downtube stiffness to maintain that pro-level responsiveness Caledonia is known for. You can still stuff some big tires (36mm) in there, and every bike comes with fender mounts. Like all Cervélos, Caledonia-5 is UCI approved, and carries a lifetime warranty. We make race bikes, and we make them to last. IN-FRAME STORAGE New this year on the Caledonia-5, the in-frame storage is designed for a tube, small multi-tool, and a CO2 canister. Out of sight, out of mind, until your tire makes the bad noise. The hatch is easily removable even with gloves on—just flip the lock and pull. AERODYNAMICS All Cervélo bikes are aero bikes. We named this bike after a stretch of road that is sometimes hard pack smooth, sometimes large stones, sometimes sand. SIMPLY. BETTER. For the P5 we focused entirely on aero performance-within the boxes defined by the UCI, anyway. We applied years of experience in engineering the fastest aero bikes and real-world testing with our pro athletes. The result is a bike that pushes the boundaries in every way possible. We spent hours in CFD, FEA, and ISO testing and the reviews came back from our athletes: BRB. The P5 has gotten significantly stiffer, but significantly lighter, as well. The frame shapes, handlebar, and fit positions, and design features work together to reduce drag and enhance your efficiency. We wanted a bike that would deliver an aerodynamic advantage over the S5, even in an uphill TT. The P5 is an ideal bike for World Tour racing and UCI-governed TT events, but it's also become a favorite of many of our long-course triathletes. If you don't need the onboard storage of the PX series or have a race with significant elevation gain, the P5 can be the perfect weapon in your race against the clock.

The S5 prioritizes aerodynamic performance and stiffness, making it a platform preferred by the fastest sprinters in the world. You've no doubt noticed the now-iconic V-Stem. We optimized that shape to deliver the best possible performance in the wind, hid the cables inside, and made enough bar/stem/stack options to fit just about anyone. It'll clear 28mm tires, too so you can eke out even more aero advantage.

THE FASTEST BIKE OF THE MODERN ERA The S5 has one job—get to the line before everyone else. Under the likes of Wout van Aert, Marianne Vos, and Christophe LaPorte, the new model has already proven itself as a tool without equal. In the 2022 Tour de France, this bike propelled Wout to the highest ever Points Classification score of the modern era. At 480, Wout was some 194 points ahead of his nearest rival—tangible proof that Cervélo keeps delivering aerodynamic gains to our World Tour athletes. The new S5 has reduced drag by 65 grams, and increased the frame’s surface area while still reducing overall weight. The deeper frame sections maximize the shapes allowed by the UCI. Meanwhile the iconic V-stem has been further refined and a new fork designed to simplify the entire front end. What’s more, a ground-breaking new wheel design concept has been co-developed with Reserve to increase stability and reduce drag in turbulent aero conditions. V IS FOR VELOCITY In pursuit of speed, everyone wants to try different positions to find their most aggressive fit. The S5's iconic V-stem not only inspires confident handling at high speeds, it's now also remarkably simple to dial in your perfect set-up. All the necessary spacers come with the bike, and there’s now only one bolt length, reducing complexity and making the system 53g lighter in the process. TIRE CLEARANCE Wider wheels and tires are faster aerodynamically, and more comfortable to boot. S5 comes specced with 28mm tires but has clearance for up to a 34mm (measured) tire. The frame is optimized to complement the wider Reserve 52/63 turbulent aero wheels. In addition to the handling benefits, this saves over 5 watts compared to the previous Reserve wheelset. FRAME ENHANCEMENTS The UCI’s new regulations on aerodynamic design allowed us some additional room to deepen our aero profiles and squeeze 65 more grams of drag performance out of what is already the fastest aero bike on the market. You’ll notice a deeper head tube and BB area, and more aggressive shaping on the trailing edges of the tubes. Since the new S5 is only compatible with electronic shifting, we were able to tidy the dropout a bit and update the shaping all over the bike. HANDLEBAR REFINEMENT We’ve improved the comfort of the handlebar and tweaked the shape to get a perfectly flat bar-to-hood transition. We now use a two-bolt interface that allows for infinite tilt adjustments between 0 and 5 degrees. KEEPING IT SIMPLE Bike fitters at every level are moving away from longer-offset seat posts, and the new S5 comes stock with a 15mm offset post on most sizes (vs 25mm offset on outgoing S5). The old seat posts are forward-compatible, and we’ll keep the 400mm-long, 25mm offset post in stock for those looking for a more extreme fit. SRAM INTEGRATED POWER Red and Force builds include Quarq Zero powermeters integrated into the crank. The integration of a powermeter results in better stiffness, lighter weight, and improved accuracy over aftermarket solutions—and the DZero delivers power measurement accurate to +/- 1.5%, even in variable temperatures. SORRY CAMPY FANS The 2022 S5 Disc frameset is designed to accommodate electronic shifting groupsets that use connectors up to 6mm in diameter, therefore Campagnolo EPS is not compatible with this frameset. Mechanical shifting groupsets are also not compatible with this frameset.

In the pursuit of chunky gravel roads to lumpy double track through deep forest, when it comes to versatility this gravel bike covers the spectrum. We named this bike after a stretch of road that is sometimes hard pack smooth, sometimes large stones, sometimes sand. Routt County Road 45 or CR45 or Cow Creek or the last and at times the roughest section of SBT GRVL. The Routt 45 was built with all of this in mind. We’ve gone to a longer top tube paired with a shorter stem and slightly slacker angles that combine for better tracking through the worst conditions. Equipped with 3 bottle locations and fender eyelets give this bike uncompromised flexibility. This modern gravel bike has capacity for a 700 x 50mm tire and is compatible with 1x or 2x drive systems.
