It’s knowing where to place the cable stops for the most frictionless routing, it’s designing dropouts that help shore up the critical seatstay/chainstay junction, it’s knowing precisely how 853 steel stiffens in the weld zone, and using that to advantage when it comes to butting the tubes for ride tuning.
